THANK YOU (and giveaway)
How was your Thanksgiving? Did you do anything special? Maybe you spent it working like me. After the day we share everything we're grateful for, today it's Black Friday - the day we buy everything else. Funny how after a day of "gratefulling", today North America goes on a massive shopping spree.
In Canada we're a little ahead of the game, we celebrated Thanksgiving last month in early October. Maybe you read my article about it. But the time of year doesn’t matter. Anytime is a good time to practice developing an attitude of gratitude.
“Poverty is a state of mind often brought on by the neighbours new car”.
Usually I participate in some of the online shopping frenzy around this time of year by offering a deal of my own. I've done book sales, art sales, and even online course sales. Today, not so much. Let's do something different.
This Thanksgiving - I'd like to give you something. Two things:
- My gratitude for you. Thank you for being part of my community. I appreciate you being here and supporting me. While I love doing what I do, teaching to empty classrooms would be boring and pointless. I appreciate you for being here. I love doing what I do most because I get to share the things I'm passionate about with so many people in more countries around the world than I've visited!
- A book giveaway. This always gets me excited. I've done this before, even with print books. Last time, sadly someone in India got upset over the fact he still had to pay shipping fees to his corner of the world. This time I'm giving away my downloadable e-book The Wealthy Artist instead. No shipping needed. Free of charge, until midnight only. Want one? Download yours here.
So no discounts or sales this Black Friday. Without getting caught in what I call the "gratitude trap", GRATITUDE is the first step in achieving the things you want to achieve in life. Begin today and develop in an “Attitude of Gratitude” in your daily life.
Bringing your consciousness to a level of gratitude changes the vibes you send out into the world. Whether you just speak your thoughts of gratefulness in your mind, or begin to journal things to be grateful for each day, things will begin to shift for you, and you will feel much more at peace with yourself.
If there's anything I can do to support you on that journey, simply hit reply and let me know.
Thank you for being here, and happy “grate-fulling” 😊
