Think I have something and I can create many things from it

One reason is to make the way we experience life better, by creating tools that make daily tasks easier, more effective, less burdensome, or more automatic. Once, long ago, these things had a very real and tangible effect on survival. Another reason involves evolutionary games that involve increasing reproductive desirability. In birds one can find many hints about the latter. The bower bird may be the most conspicuous in terms of birds that make things.

A male bower bird can spend many hours creating a special site to attract a mate. Evidently, female bower birds are very interested in the architectural, construction, and decorating abilities of male birds. Perhaps they use these abilities as a proxy for a prospective mate’s devotion and abilities in supporting a family. I suspect that something like this happens in certain human populations.

It is certainly true that toolmaking activities have imparted to certain human populations huge evolutionary advantages. Rifles and railroads, supported by a long list of supporting technologies such as writing, law, animal husbandry, and so on, made it possible for the English to overwhelm native populations throughout most of North America in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. So the making of tools really made a huge difference. But even the most primitive of human tribes have tools that they have created for things like hunting, fishing, transport, and agriculture.

From an evolutionary point of view however, humans make things because animals copy behaviors from their ancestors. And many of our successful ancestors owed some measure of their evolutionary success to tools and, therefore, to toolmakers. Many more owed some measure of success to their skill as artisans of one sort or another, wielding tools more artfully to create things that evoke greater aesthetic pleasures. People who possessed and wielded tools well and gained some incremental success over those who did not.

We see the same thing at work today where people become famous, popular, and sexually attractive for their exceptional abilities at sports or music. Sometimes, for exceptional abilities in literature, visual arts, architecture, science, business, or law. The process of creation is absolutely beautiful. Creators have been around for a while, and fortunately, always will be. I personally, love to create because nothing in the world, and I mean nothing, is better than putting your hard-earned money, work, and time into something nice, and being able to say “I made that” and take the credit for it.

Creations are a result of mixing ideas and action, but a good creation takes a very well-rounded idea and a good action plan. Anybody can create something, but not everybody can create something significant. Creation is a form of art. It expresses and applies human skill and imagination, typically in a visual form. Why do people create things? Because people like art, and art is beautiful. We create to share with others so that we can gain appreciation and feel a little less alone. We create based upon the deep satisfaction it gives us after having done so. We create for the process of creating which is enjoyable and rewarding. We create because it’s in our nature.

For thousands of years innovation, creativity, discovery, and understanding drove us towards progress and recognition as a species that never ceases to explore so as to adapt to any new environments we find ourselves in. To stop imagining, learning, constructing, and scheming would require us to give up our sense of adventure which is central to what excites us about living. But assuming you mean creating arts like (Photography, paintings etc), the main reason could be that people like to express their thoughts feelings. Apart from that people enjoy showing of their talents, and some might even do it for profits/impressing others.

If you meant creating as in engineering something new from existing stuff, these thing come out of one's or groups of people's necessities and want to have better things/luxuries. If you meant anything apart from these, I'm guessing they do enjoy what the process of creating that particular thing.. or they want learn more about it, as the process of creating any kind of thing gives you a lot of opportunity to learn something new. People create things out of their innate behavior to learn and explore. As we grow, education tells us not be wrong whereas creating things is all about being prepared to be wrong that's why we see creativity as a quality and not as something natural to everyone. In short, we create - we learn - and we create again that is if we are prepared to make mistakes.

For me, creating new things is about filling a void in an otherwise over-saturated market. I like things that appeal to all senses, that are joyful, and made to last (of highest quality). ll things change all the time. This is a fundamental fact of existence. Creation is the deliberate insertion of will into the process of change to direct its course. It might be a change in boat design or the singing of a new song. It is how the living play with the world, in which we have arisen. We enjoy creating. It is fun and feels natural to express yourself doing something. There is a satisfaction element in finishing something that make yourself feel to have achieved something. Whatever you have done, it is an expression of yourself, and you can feel defined by it. When you create something, you feel the ability of having been able to do it.

When you have been creating things, but there is a long time you have not done it, you could start having doubts about your ability. Creating something means that your are using your knowledge, experience and motivation, so it is something that you value and feels part of being yourself. Of course, there is also the need of creating things, tools, inventions, etc to solve problems or to improve things, or adapting things we have for other purposes, so we create not only something but a different way of using it. Cheers!

Kishore Shintré... A most beautiful message ❤. Do we not also create things to make our life easier and happier? I agree our life would be pretty bland to just sit and create nothing . Happy Wednesday, have a great day , my friend 😊
