Toma Mi Mano Successfully Launches in L.A.

Population Media Center is pleased to announce the successful launch of Toma Mi Mano (TMM) in Los Angeles! Toma Mi Mano ("Take My Hand") is one of PMC’s most innovative projects, a 156-episode Spanish audionovela series addressing vital social and health topics, including family planning for young couples, teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence, and gang violence - being adapted for Southern California.

The audionovela aspires to entertain, educate, and raise awareness among its listeners about the challenges they face daily. Utilizing engaging stories and well-developed characters, the series will positively influence the audience and foster significant social changes. This launch is pivotal, as PMC continues its mission of using media as a powerful tool for social change, helping communities worldwide with the most pressing challenges.  

PMC Launches Papás Por Conveniencia in Mexico City

PMC’s Vice President of International Programs, Natalia Cereser, at the Press Release for Papás Por Conveniencia in Mexico City. Also, in attendance for the release, PMC's Mexico Country Director, Cecilia Orvañanos, and Program Associate, Ana Akin.

Papás Por Conveniencia  is scheduled to premiere on Televisa's Las Estrellas on October 21st, 2024. Las Estrellas is a key network within Televisa, featuring affiliate stations across Mexico and is headquartered at XEW-TDT in Mexico City. Everyone is gearing up for an amazing premiere!

The festival is renowned for its commitment to showcasing diverse voices and innovative storytelling in the arts.
