Dear Morfollower,

You might have noticed that large-scale restoration is experiencing a pivotal moment. Every week (and almost every day!), new major programs are popping up. In just the past month, over a billion dollars have been pledged for projects set to launch by 2030.

This sounds like fantastic news, doesn't it? Well, almost...

Just planting trees doesn't make a forest. For these programs to really succeed, they need to be well-designed. But, what exactly makes a project "well-designed"? And how can it satisfy funders, implementers, and local communities all at once?

That's why quality restoration criteria are so important. If all the organizations working on these projects can agree on smart criteria, the future of our forests will be much greener.

And guess what? We've teamed up with our friends at Restor and Terraformation to put together a webinar and a guide on this very topic. I hope to see you there!

Have fun until the 11th,

Pascal Asselin, Co-founder of MORFO

📺 How to identify high-quality forest restoration projects?

How can you tell if a restoration project is high-quality? Join me for an insightful session with the excellent Mick van Eck Santos (Regional Engagement Lead at Restor) and Damien Kuhn (VP of Forestry at Terraformation). This webinar will be moderated by Andy Haigh, who is financing projects with Grosvenor, UK property business.

We'll do our best to share valuable insights and practical tips for an hour, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session to address all your questions.
