Transformational leadership - what every CIO needs to know
Craig Walker, VP and Global CIO at Shell Downstream, explains why it’s essential for CIOs to become an integral and credible part of the leadership team, sharing a wide vision that communicates the business and competitive advantages and opportunities of IT.
He also talks about how he has developed strong, high-performance teams that understand the commercial and business implications of IT; and how he’s modernised established processes - that have developed over more than a hundred years of Shell’s history - to create an agile and competitive organisation.

4yAll entrepreneurs should be be able to "accept failure as part of the learning process" and push on through to try something new. Very easy to say but hard to implement in reality, especially in traditional companies. This mindset change takes time !!
Great insights! Digital Transformation is all about competitive advantage and IT and Application transformation are key to move the needle and disrupt before being disrupted! Really good
