Underwriters laboratories have an agreement with SAC/TC 159 to establish the joint harmonization working group on the hoverboard product

on June 26 2018,the joint standard working group is founded in Beijing ,China to harmonize the hoverboard standard for the States and China. it is the first concrete standard cooperation between UL and China national committee . Philip M. Piqueira , the Vice president of Underwriters laboratories attend the event . SAC Vice administrator Yin and Cynthia Griffin, Commercial Counsellor from US embassy also attend the event and witness the signing ceremony. About 50 attendance from industry to attend the meeting . As Phil said , it is just start, UL is looking forward working with Chinese counterpart on more specific standard cooperation in more broader industry .
