WARC Awards for Effectiveness 2023

WARC Awards for Effectiveness 2023

In the first half of this year, I’ll be jury chair to two categories in the WARC Awards for Effectiveness 2023.

What makes the Awards unique is not just their breadth but the rigor that underpins them. These are the first awards to be built around the benchmarks of the WARC/LIONS Creative Effectiveness Ladder and B2B Effectiveness Ladder, creating a new global standard against which to judge marketing activity.

I’ll be jury chair on two categories:

Path to Purchase

Consumers’ journeys are becoming increasingly complex with new credible channels and platforms emerging all the time. Regardless of the type of funnel one adopts, understanding the consumers’ path to purchase and synergy between each and every touchpoint, is key today. We’re looking for cases where businesses have proven success through successful orchestration of e-commerce, social commerce and physical channels.

Channel Integration

The most sophisticated architecture is always clearly articulated and simple in its execution. One can often get lost in the multitude of channels one has in a plan but a great strategy slices through that complexity showing a clear picture – and a picture which directs all involved to boosting campaign effectiveness.

The Awards are global and open to all, the process to enter is straightforward, and entry remains completely free, too. They will be delivered in association with LIONS, using their world-class expertise in award management and judging.

The deadline for entries is 29 March 2023.

● To be eligible, marketing activity should have been in-market at any time between 1 March 2021 and 28 February 2023.

● The Awards are open to any advertiser, agency, media company, individual or team involved in marketing or communications in any country.
