We cast our lines

Ten years back, we had few trees

A great place to fish, the ocean breeze

But nature's course began to shift

And a tale of woe began to lift

Bio Vanishing Island, a paradise serene

Once thriving with life, now a fading dream

The trees, once proud, stood tall and grand

But slowly dwindled, like sand through our hand

Under the azure sky, we cast our lines

With hopes of abundance, bountiful finds

But the fish grew scarce, their numbers declined

Leaving us pondering, a world unkind

Oh, how we yearn for those vibrant days

When lush greenery danced in sun's rays

Now, a barren land, with sorrow we grieve

As the island's life, it begins to leave

What caused this change, this fragile demise?

Human hands, their actions unwise

Pollution and greed, a destructive tide

Leaving our paradise, forever denied

But let us not despair, for hope remains

In our hearts we hold, nature's gentle reins

Together we'll rise, with love and care

To restore this island, this land so rare

Let's plant trees anew, with hands held tight

Revive the ocean, bring back its might

For Bio Vanishing Island, once more to thrive

And ensure its beauty will forever survive.

Sadly the people of the Blue 💙 Pacific and our Island homes will have to face the consequences of Developed nations exploitation and development choices ..
