We Are Exactly Where We Are Supposed To Be
These past few weeks have been fantastic for crypto and blockchain technology. We have seen a lot of growth and exciting news coming from all around the world. Places like China have set aside over a billion dollars to help create blockchain for the country, and Singapore announced they would help fund blockchain projects by declaring a bitcoin initiative. This is also coupled by enormous corporations adopting blockchain technology, which is equaled by large banks, investment firms, and VC's getting into the space, too.
Just now at the time of writing Bitcoin has surpassed the $9,000USD mark again. The entire market has had an enormous bounce from the low a few weeks ago of under $250 Billion in total valuation. All of this recent news definitely begs the question, "Are we in the '2nd boom'?"
Obviously, this remains to be seen because there is a long way for mass adoption of blockchain technology, but one thing is for certain - we are exactly where we are supposed to be.
Blockchain technology is the future. This is true beyond just financial institutions and payment processing. There are many industries that will benefit from moving to blockchain and storing/transferring data. It is only a matter of time till the rest of the world catches up, which may not be too long from this very moment.
This article is to simply reiterate what many may already know about themselves and for those that doubted it during the correction of the market. We are the innovators, the pioneers, and the early adopters. The road to this point was not an easy one and it is still an uphill climb. Simply put, it is not easy convincing people that the world is not flat. However, staying the course and continuing to press forward will eventually change their perspective. It will probably even change the world as we know it.
