We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager
Here at Wheels for All, we are on an exciting period of growth whereby over the coming years we will be dramatically increasing our reach, connectivity and impact on a local, regional and national level. Underpinning our work is the objective to promote and deliver regular accessible cycling for disabled people and those wanting to improve their health and wellbeing in an inclusive environment. The ultimate outcome of this being more people cycling, more often, in their local communities.
We are very ambitious and want to further grow the impact of our organisation. A key part of this is to ensure that we inform and engage a wide range of existing and potential supporting organisations to secure funding and collaborative support. To help us lead and manage this we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager.
About this role:
The charity has created an outline Strategic Plan highlighting the goals and future direction of the organisation. Its ability to implement this has been enhanced through securing some significant third-party seed funding. A key challenge is now to leverage this platform to build a charity that is sustainable and self-reliant in all aspects of its operation. A critical element of that being obtaining the resources required through securing enduring funding, sponsorship, and long term partnerships.
Initially reporting directly to the CEO, you will design and implement a multifaceted business development plan. This will include an audit of current provision, identification of sources for additional funding and sponsorship provision, preparation of a business development plan, creation of materials used to support bids, building a data system for monitoring and evaluating results and so forth.
Working to clearly defined targets you will then execute this plan. You will work in accordance with a clear structure and process so that other stakeholders and partners are informed and engaged in the bidding process.
You will work on raising the awareness and understanding of the organisation in its targeted audiences and identified partnerships and act as the principle contact for communication.
Alongside this you will be expected to be an active member of the executive team.
Formal monthly reviews will be undertaken to review performance and agree objectives. You will be based at our Head Office in Warrington with a home based option available.
