Welcome to Inform-Engage-Empower, WPO’s Commitment to Employee Engagement!

Workplace Options has a global vision to create a more resilient future, which is fortified by data and insights from our work with employees and their families around the world. What we are seeing – now more than ever – is the struggle people are still facing at work and in their personal lives.

As a result, WPO is doubling-down on employee wellbeing and psychological safety, two critical elements comprising a workplace focused on stronger employee engagement.

To help business leaders create programs and initiatives building psychological safety, we recently released our “Psychological Safety Study: Global Context for Organizational Success” a website and multimedia content hub that presents information on how psychological safety affects employees in different countries. The site includes multimedia resources, white papers, videos, articles, infographics, and other information on the global significance of psychological safety.

The benefit of the Psychological Safety Study is that its findings are derived from clinician work with employees, not just gauging their opinions or surveying them. In this initial Study, we focused on nine countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Please take a look at the Study and the many free resources we are offering to help organizations create stronger employee engagement. In the future, you will be receiving more of these messages, because WPO is committed to answering a very simple question: “Are we helping people?” As we all deal with the many facets of employee wellbeing, this question remains essential in creating a better world.

With warm regards,

Alan King , President and CEO

Company Culture Drives Employee Wellbeing & Productivity: WPO Consulting Group

Advancing employee engagement at work often calls for a significant organizational change in a company’s culture. Leaders across the globe now understand how employee engagement must be prioritized, analyzed, and integrated into an organization starting at the C-suite.

Workplace Options launched the Consulting Group because our experts have the global experience, thought leadership, and data-driven insight necessary for helping employers identify and prevent psychosocial risks that have adverse effects on employee engagement and business outcomes. Many countries require employers to assume the responsibility for their employees’ wellbeing. The European Union, Mexico, Chile, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Colombia are among countries that have passed legislation requiring employers to address workplace stress and burnout by assessing and eliminating psychosocial hazards.

The WPO Consulting Group currently supports more than 100 companies, in over 20 countries, and in 15 languages. The consultants provide organizations – across industries – with bespoke strategies and agile methods for finding the root cause of workforce conflicts. Once the actual problem is revealed, leadership can see where to invest its resources to truly resolve it.

“We use a broad range of tools to get to the source of the issue, whether its overall strategy, assistance, or a situational pain point, we build custom solutions to target and achieve measurable goals,” said WPO Consulting Group Founding Partner Mary Ellen Gornick . “Our team recognizes every company’s challenges are as unique as their workforce. The experiences we have encountered during the past 40 years, spanning across countries and cultures, have made us experts; we know what works and what does not work.”

Wellbeing consulting can help:

  • Assess psychosocial risk, identify gaps, and develop policies to realign with organizational purpose and values
  • Integrate accountability across your leadership team, HR, managers, and employees
  • Uncover systemic issues standing in the way of a thriving culture
  • Develop leaders’ skills so they can improve their own, and their team’s wellbeing
