We're trending on IndieGoGO

If you don't know what trending means, neither did I a year ago.

In fact, I never even downloaded an app before I began to design one. I'm a Yogi by nature and by trade, I suppose you call say. Apps were foreign to me. Give me nature any-day.

You can also say it's been a steep learning curve, but it's also been a very rewarding one.

It's an interesting process when a Yogic vibe is applied to modern practices, like building apps. First you need to attract and then motivate a talented team (all of whom are investing 'sweat equity' and need to trust that you can get this project over the line). Then you need to somehow package ancient, traditional practices into a highly dynamic format, without losing the integrity of the 'product'.

Once you've done that, you need to make it accessible to a market which isn't famous for its technological dexterity (tech-dex I call it).

This is the current challenge we have with launching our Breath Taking for Blood Pressure app (BT4 Blood Pressure). My mother and her friends all seem to have High Blood Pressure, but when it comes to smart phones, well....  my four year old niece can navigate those things more successfully.

We're taking it one step at a time. First was to launch a campaign on IndieGoGo to not only raise a few funds (the app will happen regardless of how much we receive), but also and perhaps more importantly, to raise awareness and gauge interest from the public and the media.

So when I say we're trending, it's a good thing. It means that enough people have visited the campaign and contributed to it to give it the "Go-Go factor". IndieGoGo ranks this factor and places you accordingly on their shelf. No Go-Go and you're on the bottom in the 4th aisle next to the unsweetened cookies.

Have a look at the campaign- there's an interesting story behind the song as well (which includes one-degree of separation from Annie Lennox). But you'll need to donate and become a contributor to find out!

Well wishes!
