We're not your typical music showcase!

Where ever I go, I get asked the question, "How do I get to perform for TBAIMS?" And I answer them the same as I do everyone. First, do you have some video footage of live performances? Can you sing without the need of auto-tune and stay in key? What does your stage presence look like? How well can you engage your audience? And finally, how well are you at promoting yourself and/or band on social media? 

If they can show that they are good in all aspects of the above, then they have a pretty good chance to perform for us. It takes a lot of hard work and effort to maintain a music showcase second to none where every set is a great one since we do invite up to six different artists to perform a 20 minute live set each month or about 4 songs. We even recommend the songs that we feel the industry professionals that attend each month would want to hear. 

As we grow this monthly music showcase and networking event in NYC, we will soon be branching out to other major music cities across North America copying our format and high level of standards with providing showcases there. We are building a family and that takes a lot of time and effort to screen those music artists that fit our criteria as we grow this into a global footprint.

Those artists that are serious about their careers would find a quicker response to submitting to us via our website versus on Reverbnation since we get anywhere from 2400 to over 4000 submissions on Reverbnation alone each month and realistically don't get to listen to every one due to the time restraint we have in a month cycle to choose. We only get a handful on our website and we charge $15 to submit which helps support our time and effort to do what we do as well as we do it. Not a big investment when you realize the benefits of performing for TBAIMS gets you exposure to the music, entertainment, TV and film industry you wouldn't otherwise get in such a great venue in the center of New York City.

And it doesn't stop there. As we build collaborations with other venues, media outlets, music festivals and so on, we will be able to provide more opportunities to the growing family at TBAIMS to perform and connect throughout the different industry connections we add including direct access to America's Got Talent and so on.
