What you need to know about working with vacuum lifters!

It is apparent that there are many gaps in knowledge when it comes to working with vacuum lifters. This can lead to dangerous situations. With our monthly tip, we would like to protect you and others from getting injured or causing any damage.

Tip of the month (10):

In the glass store, a suction cup support frame still frequently gets used with a vacuum pump in the crane line. Experience has shown that this solution is not as safe as it might appear to be. A key weak link in that chain is the hose reel that produces the vacuum connection.

Refer to the following link to find out how you can check this hose reel, and how often you should do this for your own safety. This same link also contains other technical safety information from us, all free of charge.

We shall demonstrate this and other points too, because you need to be able to work safely with your vacuum lifter.
