We see work experience as a stepping stone, not just a tick box.

Let's take Ravi as an example: he started here with work experience in 2018, which eventually led to Ravi completing a technician apprenticeship at Concero. During his apprenticeship, Ravi stood out of the crowd and earned the title of ‘Apprentice of the Year.’ Today, he’s one of our most valued team members.

That's why we were excited to welcome six exceptional work-experience students into our office over the summer to recreate this positive experience. Our team carefully crafted work schedules for the week, aiming to provide these students with a meaningful introduction to the world of work and technology.

So what did they get up to?

🔒 Cyber security with Tim:

Tim guided the students through a real-life cybersecurity case study. They used their theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems, improving their problem-solving skills. 

💻 Troubleshooting techniques with Dan:

Dan taught the students how to handle technical issues effectively. These skills can be valuable in all professional environments. 

✅ Onboarding and offboarding with Nadiah

Nadiah taught the importance of onboarding and offboarding customers. Understanding these processes is important for smooth operations within our team.

At the end of the week, the students gave a presentation sharing what they’d learned. It made us really proud to see how excited they were about the world of Edtech. We believe that the skills and knowledge they have gained will serve as a strong foundation for their future careers, and we are proud to play a part in their professional journeys.
