Be White or Be Human

Below are my own thoughts, not representing anyone else's. If you dislike what I'm saying, tough.

I call out The Illiterati, the throng, the rednecks, the racists, the xenophobes, the bullies, the heard, the sheep, the masses, the idiots and any other "defenders of Confederate heritage".

I call out all opponents of Human Rights.

I call to you to know what you are defending.

1. If you Know Confederate History, there is no excuse for your position. Thus you are no better than the slave owners.

2. If you Don't Know Confederate History, but still parrot the message of heritage, you are willfully ignorant. Thus "Hitchen's Razor" solves your argument: "That which is submitted without evidence, may reject ones premise with same." (I think he knicked that from Spinoza though.)

3. If you are undecided because you believe both sides have merit, please simply note:

a. Article IV Constitution of Confederate States (https://avalon.law.yale.edu/19th_century/csa_csa.asp)

b. Explicit statements of Reasons for Civil War from South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas. As well as speeches, public statements, and other clear documented proof. 4. If you have taken some time to learn about this because of recent events, as I have, the depth of systemic racism in our country becomes fact.

So friends, you have a choice to make. Do you want to be a human and try to make our world better? Or is your identity so wrapped in the color of your own skin that you can't see what is plainly obvious.

What do you want to be in the history books when this plays out. Be White or be Human.

History is written by the winners. Is that not so? Is the title not a false antithesis - surely both black and white have a right to exist? Both are human. No-one is more human than another.

please share, despite my poor quoting of Spinoza.
