Meet Ally Sofia , Senior Recruiting Strategist.

Q: How long have you worked at SourceLab Search?

A: Since March 2022.

Q: What quote resonates most with you?

A: "In this life you either get ahead or watch people get ahead."

Q: What's something about you that might surprise people?

A: I am in a published article about workout habits for Harvard. I don't even workout!

Q: If you could have dinner with any woman, past or present, who would it be and why?

A: If I could have dinner with any woman, it would be Joan Rivers. She is short and to the point and says it how it is. Doesn't beat around the bush. I would love to just have dinner with her and tell her all my life drama - I feel like she would have awesome advice.

Q: Can you share a story of a woman who has inspired you in your career or life?

A: My grandma inspires me because she worked from after college literally until the week she passed away.

Q: What advice would you give to young women who are just starting their careers?

A: Don't be afraid to try new things; the beauty of being young in your career means you can pivot and try new things. Don't be afraid to take chances.

Q: What's the most memorable piece of feedback you've received in your career?

A: Don't let the bad times keep you from future accomplishments.
