March marks Women's History Month, a time to recognize and honor the achievements of women past and present.

To celebrate this month, SourceLab is spotlighting some of the remarkable women who contribute to our success and make our workplace truly exceptional.

Meet Andrea Forstadt , Director of Talent Strategy.


Q: How long have you worked at SourceLab Search?

A: I've been part of the team since 2021, before SLS created its own entity in January 2022. It's been quite a ride!


Q: What quote resonates most with you?

A: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” - Maya Angelou


Q: What does Women's History Month mean to you personally, and how do you think it should be celebrated or observed?

A: Women's History Month symbolizes growth, strength, success, and transformation and how those ideas mean different things to different people. It also reminds me to acknowledge my own growth, strength, success, and transformation - and that I'm nowhere near done yet.


Q: If you could have dinner with any woman, past or present, who would it be and why?

A: There are so many women in media and entertainment who inspire me, but those who feel genuine, relatable, and radiate a fun, positive energy are the ones I would welcome to my dinner table anytime. Hoda Kotb is the woman who first comes to mind; she embodies joy, hope, and gratitude, qualities I deeply admire.


Q: What advice would you give to young women who are just starting their careers?

A: Show up with a good attitude, listen more than you talk, ask smart questions, set small achievable daily goals so you end each day with a sense of accomplishment, and emulate good, kind people.
