Write Your First Blog Post: Secret Formula>>> Part 3
Many many Congratulations!!!
Don’t be surprised, you’ve made it. This is my 3rd weekly newsletter and you are still interested to learn this beautiful art of writing a blog post.
Till now we have identified the audience’s pain points. Don’t you remember? It’s better to read my 2nd Newsletter before you continue reading the rest of this article.
Let’s talk about the structure of a blog post. A typical blog post has the following theme.
Don’t be panic. I’ll be explaining each and everything in detail. Let’s begin with the introductory paragraph.
Do you remember my first newsletter? If yes then you know how I started my first newsletter. If not then read my First Newsletter again to avoid any confusion.
As you can see I just made a bold statement and it just grabbed your attention. It was quite smooth and straight. No wavy arguments, instead just a simple claim that “After you get this secret formula, you’ll start generating a flood of blog posts every week”
I used some exaggerating words i.e. (flood of blog posts). Do you know what does it mean by a flood of blog posts? These are strong words and they have an impact on reader's minds. If they don’t believe in the statement, still they want to explore it more.
This is not exactly the same way every blog post should start but it depends on the nature of your audience and the sensitivity of the topic being discussed.
If this was a serious topic related to the law, medications, etc. I would never ever start like this. Instead, I would start with the statements like:
“Do you how many children die every single day due to Covid?”
or
“No need to hire a tricky lawyer if you read this blog post once in your life.
I know still, these are a few overrated statements but we need the reader’s attention and we’ve got it.
I told you already, I’m not only teaching you the way of an ordinary blog post but strong copywriting skills as well. This is exactly the same method I use for my clients worldwide and they see results in days instead of weeks and months.
Another thing you can do is to throw a quick fact that rarely people would know already. But make sure to add the proper reference as well. Adding the link to the reference is always welcomed by the search engines and readers as well.
Don’t make your introduction very long. If possible, keep it engaging and entertaining so that the readers don’t leave your page instantly. You’ll not get any clicks, leads, or sales if this happens.
Promise something in the introductory paragraph so that the visitors know what are they going to learn and know about it. Don’t just tell the whole story at once instead give a quick spoiler about it.
All right, now you have a clear idea about your audience and the introductory paragraph as well.
Can you share some introductory statements in the comments below???
I wanna see how you come up with brand new ideas.
