Your Vision vs Their Vision
I often reflect on a certain milestone, event or holiday and am blown away by the ideas, experiences and people who have come in and out of my life since then. The idea for Reach came to me while standing in line at a sandwich shop in Toronto a few years back (read more here:http://bit.ly/1VuGzcw). I met someone in line and as we continued to talk, we formed a bond which led to a significant amount of business for my firm. I left with more than a new contact and a delicious veal sandwich (peppers on the side).
Cue my eureka moment! EVERYONE IS AN EXTROVERT LIKE ME AND WILL TALK TO PEOPLE IN A SANDWICH LINE… Nope.
Last year we launched with a “check-in” button which we thought would spur many of you to check-in and connect while carrying out your daily rituals, and some of you did! But, many of you preferred to get to know people first at an event or conference. You’ve helped us validate our initial assumption about everyday interactions which pivoted our product into adding an ever evolving events tab. We know that life does not end after 5PM – in fact, we know that’s when the magic happens and some of your best connections have been made for many of you.
Business and lifestyle intersect, we’re here to help facilitate the exchange.
