The ACEs Aware Initiative’s September 2024 quarterly report has just been released! There have been nearly 3 million(!) ACE screenings conducted by Medi-Cal clinicians in California with nearly 40,000 individuals having completed the training. ACEs Aware is the largest trauma-informed primary care systems transformation effort of any state in our nation! California has led the way in ensuring that clinicians are properly trained and compensated to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care. It’s not enough for us to talk about trauma-informed care, we must invest in SYSTEMS to support our clinicians to do this vital work for every family. Read the full report: https://lnkd.in/gkNQSMHe P.S. I’m on Threads now! Will be sharing news, reports, updates, and more like this over there. I would love for you all to join the conversation with me @drburkeharris!
