We had an incredible time hosting our seminar, "Optimizing Gut Health to Enhance Feed Efficiency and Immunity," held yesterday in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event a success! The day kicked off with a warm welcome from Alltech Vietnam, followed by an insightful session on the Seed-Feed-Weed program by Dr. Jules Taylor-Pickard, technical director of the technology group at Alltech. Attendees gained valuable knowledge on addressing key industry challenges such as production efficiency, food safety, zinc oxide and antibiotic-free production, and antimicrobial resistance. Prof. Dr. Duong Duy Dong then shared his expertise on factors affecting digestion and nutrient absorption across different livestock species. His session was followed by a panel discussion on achieving success in pig production without zinc oxide. We wrapped up the event with a lively Q&A session and lunch, where participants continued networking and exchanging ideas. A big thank you to our speakers for sharing their expertise and to all participants for their active engagement. As per your feedback, we look forward to hosting more events like this in the future to support our community in optimizing livestock performance, profitability and sustainability. We’ll post a photo album soon. Stay tuned for more updates and upcoming events from Alltech Vietnam!

As part of our annual Make a Difference Day, Alltech Philippines partnered with Channel of Hope Foundation to host a Back to School Mission in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque. Last Sunday, our team members and their families distributed nearly 850 sets of school supplies to children in need. 📚✏️ Seeing the smiles and excitement on the kids' faces was priceless. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and for continuing to support our mission to uplift and empower communities. Together, we're creating brighter futures!

Since 2019, the team at Alltech Japan has supported the Mizuho Children’s Home in Fukuoka with various activities and donations, including providing and reading books, delivering food gifts from customers and simply spending time having fun with the kids. In recognition of this relationship, the staff at the home nominated the Alltech team earlier this year for a service award given by the Fukuoka social welfare council. The Mizuho Children’s Home cares for up to 20 children at a time, all under the age of 7, during situations when they cannot reside with their parents. It also provides support services for foster families. To celebrate Alltech's Make a Difference Day and honor the generous spirit of our founder Dr. Pearse Lyons, Japan team members Kei Nakayama, Megumi Saito and Takashi Sakai visited the home with gifts for the children on August 1. Thoughtfully, these included a portable pool, as Fukuoka is experiencing a record-breaking heat wave this year and it is difficult to organize frequent outings to public pools, rivers or beaches for such a large group.

The Alltech Bangalore team celebrated Make a Difference Day with the children of Baldwin Opportunity School in Bangalore, which educates children with mild to moderate intellectual challenges. The school's mission is to give these children a happy childhood and help them gain independence and meaningful work as adults. The Alltech team engaged the children in fun activities, donated toys and books, and brought a cake to share. They also enjoyed the inspiration of learning more about the school’s mission and its hardworking teachers’ creative methods. As Alltech India’s marketing coordinator Swetha C said, “Baldwin Opportunity School is a home for children who are strong at heart and cheerful in spirit.”
