NASA DEVELOP Goddard Space Flight Center Lead

Come work with me at Goddard Space Flight Center on an applied sciences project! I will be leading two projects this spring: one working to support oak and hickory forest restoration efforts in Indiana and another to assess the climate conditions driving cotton quality in Texas and Georgia. The NASA DEVELOP Program is accepting applications from students, recent graduates, early or career-transitioning professionals, and military personnel and veterans for 10-week, paid, applied research projects that will take place January - April 2025. Participants will collaborate in teams of 3-5 alongside science advisors to conduct feasibility studies that apply NASA Earth observation data to support partner organizations’ environmental decision-making. This spring I am excited to collaborate with partners at the USDA Agricultural Research Service and Let the Sun Shine In-Indiana initiative. Please share this with your networks. If you have questions about DEVELOP or the Goddard projects, feel free message me! Applications close THIS FRIDAY, October 4, 2024 at midnight EST. See the DEVELOP website for more info: https://lnkd.in/erqnyFQ3

"Exciting news! 🚀 NASA is launching the PACE satellite today. PACE stands for Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem. This satellite is a game-changer in understanding Earth's health. It'll study everything from tiny plankton in the ocean to the clouds in the sky, helping scientists understand climate change better. PACE will give us crucial data to protect our planet's ecosystems and make informed decisions about our environment. 🛰️🌎 #NASA #PACE #ClimateScience" https://pace.gsfc.nasa.gov
