Just finished up commissioning last week of our NK1 and NK2 projects in Bakersfield, CA that equal about 7MWdc. We want to send a special thank you to Summit Energy for allowing AUI Partners to provide the FTC Solar, Inc Voyager tracker for these projects, as well as a thank you to Renewable Construction Services, Inc for their hard work and dedication on the mechanical install portion of this project as well. These projects definitely came with their own challenges as they sit inside of recharge basins for the Kern County water district, and will be periodically flooded with about 2 feet of water. Therefore, these trackers had to be elevated to extreme heights to allow for the trackers to continue to operate even when standing water is present. They are in fact so high, that at stow position a truck can easily drive below the tracker system. (If you notice, you can see my car parked underneath one of the trackers in the video). While challenging, the end product speaks for itself as a rewarding completion to two amazing projects. Looking forward to the next ones!
