✨ Did you know that our Glasurit #90line brought a captivating glow to the night sky of Paris during the games?   All thanks to the exceptional craftsmanship of our loyal customer, Carrosserie Sébastien Godot, based in Saône-et-Loire in France.   As a highly esteemed bodyshop in the region, Sébastien Godot had the honor of painting a structure that holds the iconic flame that lights up the sky every night in the spectacular event held in Paris. Truly a breathtaking sight since the opening ceremony. The challenge was to achieve a smooth and matte finish using our #Glasurit waterborne basecoat and #AraClass clearcoat, resulting in a visual masterpiece.   A stunning and exclusive Bentley tone was selected, showcasing the dedication and skill of Sébastien Godot and his team.   Congratulations to Sébastien Godot for their exceptional work and for helping to create a truly inspiring sight! At BASF Coatings, we are marking a significant milestone: the official opening of our new Small Can Filling & Packaging (SCFP) lines in Münster on June 28th. This state-of-the-art facility, one of our largest recent investments, demonstrates our dedication to #AdvancedManufacturing and #Automation. The SCFP lines transform our refinish coatings production, enhancing efficiency and flexibility. Why is this such a big deal? 🤔 Our Münster site is a key hub for #RefinishCoatings, now handling more than 20,000 cans daily for global distribution. The new automated systems cater to a wide range of container sizes, setting new industry standards. The numbers speak for themselves: 4 million cans per year, 10.5 thousand tons, and 30 different can types ranging from 0.25 to 5 litres. Our new SCFP lines boast a high degree of process automation #Industry40, best-in-class machinery, and SHE conformity. This investment aligns with our strategy to optimize production through automation, supporting innovative repair coatings and premium automotive refinish brands such as Glasurit #Series100. "Customer satisfaction and high delivery quality are our top priorities," emphasizes Anne-Caroline Bruns (Mourot), Director of Site Operations.
