Scaling the world's best AI & ML Research Science teams 🦾🧬💻

I genuinely believe the next 5 / 10 years will bring change so transformational, it's hard to realistically contemplate what they will be☠️🚀 And between DeepSeek AI's R1 and OpenAI's Stargate announcement, it's already been a fairly crazy start to the year 😅 The question I'm seeing a lot of people ask is: Are we optimizing our way out of the AI arms race, or are we stepping on the gas? 👀 IMO, we're stepping on the gas 😮💨 Jevons Paradox states that as technological improvements make a resource more efficient, its overall consumption often increases rather than decreases (Shoutout to Satya Nadella). As training and inference costs drop, AI adoption will accelerate, embedding itself even deeper into industries that haven’t yet fully leveraged its potential. The result? More demand for compute, not less 💥🔥 Which is simple, really. You make something objectively useful more efficient and more people will use it. Domains that have historically been less accessible to AI will now be reaping the rewards. And I cannot wait. LFG 💥😮💨🚀 #beyondthemodel #machinelearning #artificialintelligence

  • How to utilise AI to support in your job hunt? No - the answer is not to write your resume for you! Recruiters are seeing more and more resumes that speak about certain activities, but don't have any link to the impact this had on a business. However, how AI could help is - Using tools like ResumAI by Wonsulting to scan your resume and detect mismatched keywords, spelling mistakes, and align a resume more to a job description; - Enhancing your linkedin profile to become more visible to recruiters, by using tools like SkillSyncer or Resume Worded - Do Mock Interviews with MockAI or Big Interview - Enhance networking by using tools like Crystal Knows to analyse communication styles of potential connections Amongst many other things #RecruitmentWednesdays

  • Who is excited for AI Research Tuesday? 💥🔥😏 As always, the world of AI Research continues to move at lightning speed. Here's what's happening and how you can stay up to date 👇 👉 NVIDIA announces GR00T blueprint at CES to accelerate humanoid robotics development. Isaac GR00T Blueprint for synthetic motion generation helps developers generate exponentially large synthetic motion data to train their humanoids using imitation learning. CRAZY 👀 👉 Microsoft releases their new Phi-4 model open-soured on Hugging Face! Whilst the fierce LLM space grows at light-speed, Microsoft is pursuing the development of powerful small models. People are loving Phi-4 so far! 🎉 👉 OpenAI release their best model yet - o3. It's led to a bit of a media frenzy, and the general reception has been pretty ludicrous. Being without a doubt the top model when it comes to reasoning, o3 is another strong step in the AGI race 🤑😏 👉 NVIDIA goes crazy with 'Project Digits'. It's a $3,000 personal AI Computer announced at CES, quite frankly stealing the show! This will allow ANYONE to run their own models locally. Woweee 💥 👉 Microsoft create new AI group led by former Meta executive (Jay Parikh👀), affirming their dedication and vision to be at the forefront of the AI Platform shift. This team will be called CoreAI, and reflects Satya Nadella's view that "every part of the application stack will be affected by AI" 🙌 👉 Now, this may sound like old news, but it would be WILD not to mention it. DeepSeek AI launched their new model DeepSeek V3 with what can only be described as a tectonic bang 💣 V3, trained on a budget of $6 Million (described by someone at OpenAI as a 'joke of a budget') is easily China's biggest LLM breakthrough. Exciting times! So, an exciting start to 2025. We cannot wait to see what happens over the year. What do you think the biggest R&D breakthrough will be? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below 👇🔥😏 As always, links below! #beyondthemodel #machinelearning #artificialintelligence #deeplearning

  • 👀 Will AI take over recruitment?👀 LLMs are predicting that with tools like pymetrics (now Harver) and Paradox's Assistant Olivia, jobseekers will unknowingly interact with AI Recruiters during interview processes. Examples include, interview scheduling, preliminary screenings, and salary negotiations!? Whilst interview scheduling makes a lot of sense (despite tools like Calendly and ATS's like Ashby and Greenhouse Software automating this already), we find it hard to believe job seekers will favour AI over the human touch of during preliminary screenings, interview preparations and debriefs, and especially salary negotiations. All of these areas take a lot of empathy, understanding and connection. We are yet to see an AI Agent or similar replicate this.... What do you think? #RecruitmentWednesdays
