The Creator Economy is on track to become a $500 billion industry in the next three years, a growth stat that far surpasses any other in media. D.C. has long had lobbyists for the creative industries—film, TV, music, etc.—but this new creative class, a class that includes half of Gen-Z (that’s right, half of a generation identifies as ‘creators’), does not yet have robust representation within the walls of our capital. From AI to privacy to mental health, I look forward to tackling these important, non-partisan issues together.
