About us
The Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) is a nationally accredited, award-winning directorate within the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) located in Linthicum, MD and Slippery Rock, PA. On behalf of the DCSA director, CDSE executes the functional manager responsibility (DODI 3305.13) that ensures security training, education, and certification standards are consistently met in the deployment of products and services for the Department of Defense (DOD). In doing so, CDSE provides security education, training, and certification products and services to a broad audience supporting the protection of National Security and professionalization of the DOD security enterprise.
