We’re thrilled to announce that we are one of five US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant recipients awarded to improve indoor air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in schools. This grant will allow us to build capacity among more school district staff, particularly in low-income, disadvantaged, and Tribal communities, making our training and resources more accessible to those who need them most. With this funding, we’ll continue our long-standing commitment to supporting healthier, more sustainable learning environments for millions of students. Thank you, EPA, for your partnership in this critical work! https://lnkd.in/eeK4nS4X #GreenSchools #EPA #Sustainability #IAQ
USGBC's Center for Green Schools is one of five recipients of a $34 million grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to address indoor air pollution in schools. "With this grant, we aim to expand our existing, successful program to provide training to at least 1,000 additional school district staff, which will have an enormous impact on communities that lack resources to improve the learning environments for their student and teachers to thrive and lead to improved student outcomes." - Anisa Heming. https://bit.ly/3yYfkYn
