Women are an integral part of the leadership team at Premier Inc., underscoring our belief that true equality in the workplace means empowering women to have a seat at the table and a role in leading the charge.     This year, your support is more critical than ever. With 54% of children in our community living below the poverty line, many students start school without basic supplies. To help bridge this gap, we’re partnering with Classroom Central to collect school supplies. Classroom Central serves over 162,000 students and teachers in 248 underserved schools across six districts in Charlotte by supplying essential resources and materials. Collections will be accepted until Sept. 8. Employees, check Premier Pulse for the link to purchase items from the Amazon donation list to have them shipped to the Charlotte office, or you or drop them off in person.

    We’re bringing our "Off the Clock" series back, and we're excited to introduce you to Michael K., Principal of PINC AI™ Thought Leadership. Michael is a member of Premier Inc.'s Data Science team, and has been an employee for 14 years! Michael currently splits the majority of his time between the PINC AI™ 100 TOP HOSPITALS® program and the Women and Infant’s team. He most enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams to collectively solve healthcare problems. “The Data Science team is a centralized team within Premier, which means that we work on complex data problems across the organization. We develop and support methodologies embedded in our member facing tools, support Advocacy by conducting ad hoc analyses and commenting on proposed regulations (of statistical nature), assist marketing with educational content, and conduct research in collaboration with academic and government organizations. I’ll give a special shout out to the 100 Top and Women and Infants teams - two remarkably talented teams that have exhibited some of the most exceptional camaraderie during my time at Premier.” In Michael’s spare time you can find him taking his daughter to her high school wrestling meets and practices. To fill the time between events, Michael has recently returned to school to study public health and makes use of this free time to do schoolwork!     Kicking off today with a #FlashbackFriday to an unforgettable adventure in Yosemite National Park with my family last week. ⛰️ Hiking through the majestic landscapes reminded me of the importance of stepping away from the everyday hustle and truly immersing ourselves in the moments that matter. In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the demands of work, but taking time to recharge and connect with loved ones is vital - not just for our own well-being, but for those who rely on us as leaders, colleagues and friends. It's been an incredible week at Premier Inc., and I was thankful to be reminded that a balanced life is key to sustaining the energy and passion we need to drive meaningful change. In this upcoming year, Premier remains committed to creating sustainable change for our healthcare systems and the communities we serve, and I cannot wait to see what we accomplish together. But today, I encourage everyone to carve out time for themselves and their families—it's these moments that fuel our resilience and creativity!

    Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Premier, Inc.

    This morning, I officially announced my retirement from Premier Inc., effective Dec. 31, 2024.   I am honored to pass the torch to Glenn Coleman, and I am confident that Premier and our shareholders will benefit from Glenn’s wealth of financial and operational management experience at public companies.   It has been the greatest privilege of my career to serve as Premier’s Chief Administrative and Financial Officer, leading our talented finance, corporate development, information technology and insurance services teams. I am proud that Premier today is positioned to win, with the right capabilities and strategy in place to drive sustainable value creation for our stakeholders.   The strength of our business reinforces my confidence that this is the right time to make this transition. I look forward to spending more time with my family in my retirement and continuing to follow Premier’s future success. Over a twelve-week period, our interns become contributing members of the team by working on meaningful projects that provide an opportunity to build their resume and have measurable success on key deliverables. In addition to exposure within their department, students have access to ongoing education sessions and community and social events to learn more about Premier Inc. and the healthcare industry.
