Unmasking AI If you are curious about the biases of AI and the harms it causes, I highly recommend reading the book by Dr. Joy Buolamwini. The biases and harms can stem from both data and the algorithms. Dr. Joy is the founder of The Algorithmic Justice League. The book is really eye opening. It isn’t just for AI practitioners, it’s for everyone so that together we can recognize the biases and potential harms before deploying AI algorithms to the real world.
