Dignity Housing is the first housing and social services program in the nation founded and guided by homeless people and activists. Located in Northwest Philadelphia, Dignity Housing provides quality subsidized housing and supportive services to homeless individuals and families, helping them gain life skills and resources to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. 100% of Dignity residents enter below the Federal poverty level. 87% of residents are female. In Fiscal Year 2017 (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017) Dignity served 169 people in 67 households, including 102 children.
