    Here’s to another step in Dow’s path to zero! We are proud to launch a new addition to Dow’s growing portfolio of sustainable materials to help the #automotive industry #decarbonize – bio-based NORDEL™ REN Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM) for weatherseals, hoses, belts and other molded rubber goods for automotive. The plant-based material will be made through an ISCC+ certified mass balance system, so the resulting product can help offer identical performance to virgin material with no requalification required, helping customers accelerate their sustainability transition. By using bio-based residues from other industries as raw material, NORDEL™ REN EPDM offers a lower-carbon emissions option without consuming extra land resources nor competing with the food chain. At #DKT2024 this week, our Dow team is showcasing how our own path to carbon emissions neutrality also aims to help our customers achieve their own decarbonization goals. That’s why we keep innovating to help our customers reduce their Scope 3 emissions, and continuously work towards building collaborations with value chain players.
