Each year City of Keller residents have an opportunity to sign up for a 10 week Citizens Academy where they experience first hand the work that goes on in every aspect of municipal government. Economic Development had our turn last week and boy was it fun! Along with learning the basics of Econ Dev, participants had the pleasure of stopping by Keller's new fine dining restaurant Acquario Italian Seafood with Nino Rata, visit with Derek Wright of Houghton Horns LLC to hear about their expansion in Old Town, hear from Dwight Dowell about what makes Horizon 76 and Outpost 36 one of Keller's best restaurant experiences and topping it off with goodies from newly established in North Texas - Sugar Llamas - OKC.
