About us
Fabric Development, Inc., a subsidiary of Kordsa, is a leading supplier of fabrics to the composites marketplace. FDI was established in 1972 to manufacture specialty woven, knitted and braided fabrics for the aerospace, medical, ballistics, recreational and industrial markets. Since that time, we have grown from a specialized textile manufacturer to a production and manufacturing facility of 80,000 square feet, capable of custom weaving to meet demanding composite parts requirements, in both prototype and production runs. Today, FDI offers a robust manufacturing capability to meet the demand for specialty fabric applications throughout the world.
