At our recent discussion at Optimizing the Biopharmaceutical Product Launch Process, in partnership with Syneos Health, we explored what it takes to build a commercially successful go-to-market strategy. See below some of our key takeaways: - Think commercially from the start: Commercialization should be embedded in strategy early, not left as an afterthought. - Leverage market analytics: Data-driven insights can guide clinical plans, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning. - Adapt organizational mindsets: Moving beyond a science-first culture to a commercially focused one is critical for success. - Assess capital needs wisely: In a constrained investment environment, understanding funding requirements and securing the right partners is essential. - Choose the right path to market: Whether launching independently, out-licensing, or partnering, having a clear commercial roadmap is key. The journey of moving a biotech product from Phase II results to a successful launch is complex, but with the right strategy, biotech firms can turn scientific breakthroughs into sustainable commercial success. Wealth Management Summit Asia 2025: Key Takeaways and Insights! That’s a wrap on Wealth Management Asia! From market volatility and AI-driven investments to Asia’s evolving economic landscape, today’s discussions offered a wealth of insights from industry leaders shaping the future of wealth management in the region. Opening the event, Jason Moo, CEO of Bank of Singapore, Asia's Global Private Bank, set the tone by addressing the uncertainty surrounding global markets: "One thing Wealth does not want is volatility." With political shifts on the horizon, the need for stability remains top of mind. Artificial intelligence emerged as a key theme throughout the day, with Eddy Wong, CEO of Amundi highlighting the importance of generational insights: "We should talk to the younger generations more" to understand how AI can be best implemented in portfolio management. India’s investment outlook sparked debate, as Nomura’s Gareth Nicholson provided a balanced view: "I totally agree with India’s long-term story, but India has been the darling for quite some time and that has taken a sideslip. It is one of the biggest underperformers of the year so far... In the short term, it faces economic headwinds, but India has a fantastic culture for adapting to change." Echoing the need for strategic adjustments, Vikram Malhotra, Co-Founder and CEO of 360 ONE Global, noted: "When the wind is blowing, you have to adjust your sails and sometimes you need lifeboats as well!" On the fiduciary front, Robin Harris, Regional Head of APAC at Ocorian Group, weighed in on the ever-present risks for trustees, referencing the recent Ivanishvili v. CST case: "I’m not sure you can ever completely divorce yourself from that irreducible fiduciary risk." Closing the event, Jin Yee Young of UBS Global Wealth Management provided a forward-looking perspective on the UBS-Credit Suisse integration: "The next phase of the integration is growth. We have no more excuses now." A huge thank you to our speakers, attendees, sponsors and partners for an insightful and engaging event. Until next year!
