A year ago, and through the WSO Future leaders program, we studied the situation in Matrouh governorate - Egypt and how it is in need of proper stroke services, and we suggested some solutions and action plans, and spotted two hospitals to be initially fit for implementing proper stroke service one of them was the El-Alamein Typical hospital. After a year and through efforts of the government and efforts of Prof. ahmed elbassiouny the implementation took place with the official declaration of the success of performing 5 neuro-intervention procedures in the El-Alamein Typical hospital.
