🌍 Communication is key in project execution! To ensure the success of industrial transformation, the green economy, and digitalization, it’s essential to reach diverse stakeholders and promote a sustainable and economically viable future. From October 16-17, we were present at the SYMAS® & MAINTENANCE trade fair in Krakow. The Krakowski Park Technologiczny | Krakow Technology Park booth, with the Greene 4.0 team, provided a platform to engage in valuable discussions about green innovations 🌱. The next day, KTP welcomed representatives from 16 regional authorities and the Polish Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy to discuss Interreg projects, including Greene 4.0, and the B2GreenHub platform 🚀. Greene 4.0 at Circular Week 2024 – Advancing the Circular Economy ♻️ The team from our project partner, FH Kufstein Tirol – University of Applied Sciences, was thrilled to participate in the Circular Week 2024 in Innsbruck. 🌍 Energy, process optimization, data analysis, sustainability – how can manufacturing companies tackle today's challenges? In the age of the circular economy, companies are facing numerous challenges: energy efficiency, resource optimization, carbon footprint measurement, and compliance with new reporting regulations... The list goes on. So how can the best solutions be found? Simple solutions are often the most effective. This is why Krakowski Park Technologiczny | Krakow Technology Park brought together manufacturers and technology providers for a workshop, allowing them to directly share their needs and solutions with one another. 🏢 At KPT headquarters, the second workshop was held, gathering startups, tech companies, and manufacturers eager to embrace green technologies. Technology recipients delivered short presentations outlining their needs and areas of interest, while startups showcased their innovative solutions during 5-minute pitching sessions. This was followed by 1-on-1 meetings that generated plenty of positive (and green) energy – which will hopefully lead to fruitful business collaborations. The entire process went very smoothly thanks to the team of specialists from Open Innovation House - Dariusz Bembenek, Łukasz Cieśla, Marcin Szymański - who guided the companies through this challenging and fascinating journey. 💥 Last week was an important and exciting one for the participants of the Greene 4.0 project! From September 4-6, the Slovenian city of Portoroz hosted participants of the Transnational Conference, part of the larger event Technologies and Business Models for Circular Economy – TBMCE 2024. The conference attracted specialists in the ♻️ circular economy, 🔬 scientists, 💼 business representatives, and 🏛️administrators. Members of the Greene 4.0 project also made their mark at the conference. ➡️ Maja Sušec presented the key principles of the B2GreenHub platform, an emerging ecosystem that connects solution seekers and solution providers, offering tremendous opportunities for companies looking to become part of the green economy. ➡️ Maruška Nardoni spoke about the User Acceptance Model, describing the conditions under which businesses are most willing to embark on their journey toward a sustainable economy. 📢 We are excited to announce a comprehensive event that will bring together companies, research institutions, and educational organizations to discuss the circular economy, as well as green and digital practices. As part of this larger event, Greene 4.0 will be hosting the Transnational Conference on the second day, September 5th, 2024. The Greene 4.0 🌱 project has partnered with the University of Maribor/Univerza v Mariboru to deliver an engaging event that meets the needs of companies by offering a diverse programme with a range of speakers and topics relevant to their green and digital transition. The event, which will be held at Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož, is expected to attract approximately 150 participants from businesses, research institutions, and educational organizations. Several renowned speakers will address topics related to science and development, focusing on the current challenges of technological advancement and society’s responsibility in transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, and from a linear to a circular economy.
