    🌍 Continuing our Sustainability Series with François Minec, HP's Global Head of Polymers 🌱   👉 In the past posts, we've explored how 3D printing reduces waste, supports weight reduction, and enables local and on-demand manufacturing. Now, we turn our focus to how HP 3D Printing specifically promotes sustainability. At the heart of our technology is the use of thermoplastics, which are inherently recyclable. This plays a crucial role in applications like aligner production, where molds are often single-use. With HP’s technology, those molds can be recycled, reducing waste that’s common with other technologies like UV resin. 🌲   But that’s just the start. At HP, we are working across four key axes to drive sustainability in 3D printing, and today, we’re focusing on the first one: 1️⃣ Reducing the Carbon Footprint. 🔋 By reducing the carbon footprint of the powders used in our printers, we are making strides towards greener manufacturing. Collaborating with partners like Evonik and Arkema, we’re creating powders that are not only bio-based but also manufactured using renewable energy, significantly lowering the environmental impact of our printed parts. 🌿   ❗ Stay tuned for more insights on the remaining ways we are driving sustainability at HP 3D Printing. After careful finishing and painting, the result is nothing short of stunning! 🌟 🔧 Key Highlights: ◾ Body manufactured using HP MJF technology with HP HR PA12 material, enabled by Evonik. ◾ Innovative, detailed design optimized for 3D printing. ◾ A perfect fusion of creativity and technology, bringing a unique, fully functional instrument to life.
