Excited to share this amazing showcase of what’s possible with Tech Print Industries - The Future of Eyewear and HP Multi Jet Fusion technology! 💡 👀 Watch how our very own Fabian C. M. Schuster, HP's 3D Printing Application Engineer, shows his new fully customized, 3D-printed eyewear frame from TPI, that’s not only unique in design but also a perfect fit. Through precise 3D scanning and advanced software tools like "The FrameGenerator," TPI can design and sculpt eyewear frames in minutes, allowing complete personalization—down to the texture and color patterns, thanks to AI technology. 🎨👓 🚀 The level of accuracy, detail, and customization that HP's Multi Jet Fusion technology brings to the fashion and consumer goods industry is transforming the way we think about personalized products. From fashion eyewear to other wearables, the possibilities are truly endless! If you’re heading to #SILMO Paris or #VisionExpo, don’t miss the chance to see these groundbreaking frame designs and the future of custom 3D printing at the TPI booth (7.F262 in Paris and P.19057 in Vegas)! 👀 See you there! #HP3DPrinting #3DPrintedEyewear #FashionTech #Customization #ConsumerGoods #AdditiveManufacturing #Innovation #MultiJetFusion #DigitalFashion #AI
Watch the video and check out this amazing full-color #3Dprinted frame, created in collaboration with Fabian C. M. Schuster from HP 3D Printing and TPI! In the video, Fabian takes us behind the scenes, starting with a precise head scan that captures every detail of his facial geometry, guaranteeing a perfect, custom fit... From there, the data transforms into a detailed 3D model, turning exact measurements into a fully personalized design. With carefully selected colors and textures to match Fabian’s unique style, this frame becomes truly one-of-a-kind. ✨ We have a build our own software tool called " The FrameGenerator" that quickly creates the perfect unique style and fit where we can even sculpt the frame details live in 3D in minutes. By using an AI texture generator, the color pattern is also exclusive to the design. Once the whole design is set, the frame is 3D printed and finished with incredible precision. The result? A flawless fit and a stunning, unique look. Priceless...there is only one like it in the world although we could print it a million times 👌😎😎😎😎😎👍. Heading to #SILMO Paris or #VisionExpo West? Don’t miss Fabian’s printed head and this custom frame at the TPI booth 7.F262 in Paris and P.19057 in Vegas! Exciting insights from Peter Zelinski on the future of additive manufacturing at IMTS 2024! 🚀 A huge shoutout to our own Rebecca Dake, P3D Software’s Head of Product & Partner Manager at HP, for sharing her insights during yesterday's panel discussion on the expanding role of AM and the upcoming Formnext Chicago. Rebecca perfectly captured the journey of AM adoption with her breakdown of the three key phases: ➡ 'Can we do it?' ➡ 'Should we do it?' ➡ 'WE NEED TO DO IT.' We are now at a pivotal moment where more manufacturers are realizing the urgency of embracing AM to enhance adaptability, resilience, and digital production. Proud to be part of a movement that’s driving the future of manufacturing! 🌟 Rebecca Dake; Arvind Rangarajan #IMTS2024 #AdditiveManufacturing #HP3DPrinting #FormnextChicago #3DPrintingInnovation

Surprises at IMTS - International Manufacturing Technology Show. A glimpse of where the NEXT ADOPTION WAVE FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING will come from. Here is what I am seeing: This is a big show, obviously - biggest mfg event in North America. And its largest area of focus is machining. Thus, it is a different kind of show for AM technology providers. As one exhibitor said to me yesterday, "This is where we try to reach the newbies." My observation from Day 1: THE NEWBIES ARE SHOWING UP. Strong draw to the show's Additive Manufacturing Sector. Multiple exhibitors there reported to me they are again fielding fundamental questions about how AM or particular AM processes work. High interest in AM systems that (A) look or behave like machine tools and/or (B) operate at a price point that allows for graceful adoption. I.e., existing metalworking manufacturers looking for their bridge from machine shop work to AM. In two separate and unrelated encounters on Day 1, two different machine shop leaders recognized me, said hello, described the mission they are on to develop AM capability, and told me I need to do more reporting on the AM adoption path for machine shops. (On it!) Also on Day 1, I hosted a panel discussion about the Formnext Chicago event coming in April 2025, sharing the stage with leaders from AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology, HP 3D Printing, Mazak North America and Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. In that talk, Rebecca Dake from HP said something that I think just nails it. We have seen three phases with additive manufacturing, she says: ➡ First was 'Can we do it?' ➡ Second was 'Should we do it?' ➡ Now, the third is 'WE NEED TO DO IT.'" Phase 2 involved a pullback. Over-hopeful and under-ready AM applications and organizations have halted or retreated. We have been seeing and experiencing this. But that changes nothing about the broader shifts in manufacturing responsiveness and resilience that favor additive as a digital, adaptable production process. This broader wave of transformation comes to the doorstep of more and more manufacturers who realize: We need to figure this out. We need to do AM. #imts2024 #additivemanufacturing #3dprinting
