Delivering innovation to help organizations be more efficient & productive | Intelligent Automation | Ai | SaaS | Data | Analytics |
I read today an article from the IBM Institute for Business Value about how governments are transforming to be #future_ready, and the insights are clear: Automation & innovation are no longer optional, they’re #essential. The research shows that: - 70% of government leaders expect shock-level events to increase in both intensity and frequency. - Governments that invested in AI, automation, and hybrid cloud during the pandemic saw a 240% rise in citizen demand for services, and those that acted swiftly on tech transformation emerged #stronger and more #resilient. - Despite this, 60% of government CEOs recognize the need to #accelerate transformation to be truly future-ready. The way the #UAE handled the pandemic is a lesson to be taught for generations. By investing in smart technologies and innovative solutions, the UAE stayed ahead of the curve, ensuring the safety of its citizens while maintaining government services. Today, the UAE continues to #lead in digital transformation, showing the world the power of automation and AI in shaping the future. Now is the time for governments everywhere to follow this example. Investing in automation today will ensure we’re ready for tomorrow’s challenges. you can read the same in the following link: https://lnkd.in/dEwJKQ4D #Automation #AI #DigitalTransformation #UAE #GovernmentInnovation #FutureReady #HybridCloud #Resilience #IBMResearch #observability

"Better yet, it eliminates the friction that drags most operations into the slow lane. That’s the #culture change that will drive the future." 👏 💡 Well said, Salima Lin. Thank you for sharing. Read the full report here: https://ibm.co/47FMfOD
As we were researching operating models, I asked the team - how many handoffs does it take to get a product or service from concept to completion? They told me that our research shows it’s closer to 80 than 8, creating silos and friction that grind traditional operating models to a halt. Clearly, that’s not good. The solution is a #hybrid-by-design approach, which shifts operating models from “by-default” to a more intentional “by-design” method. Hybrid by design began as an architectural cloud framework—today it’s become a way to use #technology to enable fit-for-purpose work environments and new #workflows. Using cloud and generative AI technologies in a hybrid-by-design environment foster efficiency, speed, creativity, innovation, and a sense of ownership that leads to a more engaged and productive workforce. Better yet, it eliminates the friction that drags most operations into the slow lane. That’s the #culture change that will drive the future. Find out more in our 5th chapter of The Great Tech Reset: Built for flexibility – Why hybrid-by-design operating models are tomorrow’s enterprise foundation, and watch for the book, scheduled to be published in November! Traditional operating models aren't equipped for today’s business. Our research found that a typical enterprise has an average of 78 handovers per major product initiative, so it's no wonder that speed and innovation are suffering. By adopting hybrid-by-design operating models, organizations can streamline workflows, empower teams, and foster a culture that thrives on change. Download the last chapter of our 5-part series, which will culminate in a book on the power of #genAI in #hybridcloud, to learn the three things every leader needs to know and three things they need to do now to unlock the power of hybrid-by-design operating models: https://ibm.co/4gxuO6L
