The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) today announced that KubeEdge has graduated 👩🎓 KubeEdge is a platform that brings the container orchestration and scheduling capabilities of Kubernetes to the edge. It was first open-sourced in 2018 by Huawei Cloud, joined the CNCF Sandbox in 2019, and became an incubating project in 2020. “KubeEdge started with a vision to extend cloud native technology to the edge and foster a robust edge-cloud computing ecosystem. Today, it has been adopted across numerous innovative and unforeseen fields.
