  • 🌎 In this always-changing world, as you level up, your role may become something else too! Over the years, Cili became more evolved in a lot of other tasks at Lexmark, as she thought at first: “My role has evolved as I have become more involved in communication tasks, event organizing, and creating presentation materials for colleagues. Thanks to these changes, I switched from HR to marketing and communication. Apart from that, I’m responsible for 7 countries in the EMEA region and Canada, so I have a wide range of day-to-day tasks from creating employer certificates for employees (bank, nursery, different authorities), calculating cafeteria, handling invoices, keeping in touch with vendors and colleagues, and taking care of all on- and offboarding tasks and benefit calculations in Canada, while being responsible for the offboarding process in EMEA.” 🟩 How did your role evolve at your workplace?

  • 📩 A sudden but very welcomed e-mail was received by the Lexmark team on Tuesday, July 9, saying that today is ice cream day, with cool treats at the reception. In the sweltering summer heat, we couldn't have asked for anything else! ☀️ 🍦 With chocolate, strawberry, vanilla Cornetto, or vegan Magnum to choose from, everyone found a flavor to sweeten up this hot July Tuesday. We are thankful for the delicious surprise! 😋

    On Diversity Week, our diversity group Women@Work organized a panel discussion on the occasion of Father’s Day by the name of Dads' Voice - Shaping the Next Generation. 👨👦 It turned out to be a very good discussion with lots of laughs. To add to the "guy" vibes, they were given non-alcoholic beer and chips. 🍻 The topics were things like: ➡️ What have you learned from your children that has influenced your approach to leadership? ➡️ Has your work ethic or way of working changed since you had kids? If yes, in what way? How is it different? ➡️ Do you have any task, duty, or activity with your kid(s) that is just yours? 🎉 It was a refreshing experience to hear both sides of the parent-child dynamic in a welcoming and light atmosphere!

  • 💫 The Thursday of Diversity Week was stacked with new experiences! One of our favorite programmes was the “Middle Ground - Lex Talk About It!”, a discussion led by Valentine GERFAULT and Jorge A Lucarini Sanz. 💬 The main topic was diversity and not only LGBTQ was covered here, but all kinds of other issues, like disability, mental health issues, or queer issues. 🧑💻 It was a hybrid event, but those who were in the room were able to discuss the pros and cons of the different questions posed by Vale and Jorge in small groups. 📸 As you can see in the pictures our HR was present in good numbers, like Veronika Nemeth-Varosi (Global GALE diversity group leader), Agnes Katona (HR Manager) and Noémi Karajz.   • At Lexmark Budapest Competence Center, we had the pleasure of being represented by Gyorgy Szemeredi and János Bátyai at the 3rd General Assembly on the DiCiM Project in Ljubljana. Over the course of two days, they actively participated in various insightful workshops that aligned with the DiCiM objectives and visions. 🌍🤝 As an EU-funded initiative, DiCiM aims to develop and demonstrate integrated digital solutions for tracking, tracing, and condition monitoring of printers during their use phase. These solutions are designed to optimize reverse logistics and support tools/solutions that enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness during the value recovery phase. 📈🔄 Within this project, Lexmark is proud to be one of the main demonstrators in the consortium, focusing on developing and implementing an open-access digital platform for lifecycle information management. This platform is a crucial step forward for the Circular Economy in our industry. 🔧🔍 We extend our heartfelt thanks to the University of Ljubljana for their exceptional hosting of this event. 🙏🏢
