In an effort to better serve its core markets, Diversified Products has announced a new branded division for its line of man baskets and material handling products: LiftWise. Diversified’s LiftWise brand includes multiple models of fall-arrest man baskets designed for accessing high-reach maintenance areas. The baskets offer quick attachment to service cranes, knuckleboom cranes and digger derricks, providing a convenient, safe alternative to renting aerial lifts, using ladders or climbing on equipment. The material handling products includes multiple models of tire handlers, chassis lifters, transporters, fixtures and tools. These products range in capacities from 500 to 130,000 pounds and can be customized to meet your need or application. Most material handling concepts are a direct result of an ergonomic need or safety improvement in the workplace. The products under the LiftWise brand were previously marketed under the Diversified Products name. They have been developed over the last 20 years by Diversified Product Development, a long-time provider of conceptualization, engineering and fabrication services that specializes in the utility, construction and related industries. “We have been developing fall-arrest and custom material handling products for many years, but the Diversified name didn’t clearly reflect our specialized offerings,” said Ray Fritel, president of Diversified Product Development. “Now, we’re launching the LiftWise brand as a commitment to our key markets so that we can provide more clarity and better cater to specific audiences.” The LiftWise brand was officially launched and revealed in 2013.
