Google delays Commissions-based bid strategies Sunset Commission-based bid strategies such as Pay Per Stay/Pay Per Booking will now be sunset on February 20, 2025 instead of the initially set date of October 31st 2024. As we understand, this is based on advertiser requests for additional time to migrate away from commission-based bid strategies. Important to note though, during this time, new commission-based campaigns cannot be created but existing campaigns will continue to serve. Starting Feb 20, 2025, Pay Pert Stay and Paper Per Booking campaigns will stop serving. Reconciliation for Commissions (per stay) will be offered for 9 months post sunset (until November 30, 2025). DerbySoft will retain current and historical reporting data regardless of the sunset.
