“What on earth made you decide to join the pool industry?” That is the most common question Tracy has been asked over her 10 year career as the CEO and Owner of Great Valley Pool Service. After having spent 25 years climbing the ranks in Corporate America in some of the top Fortune 500 companies in the Pharma world, Tracy took the plunge with both feet into the deep end of the pool world and purchased Great Valley Pool Service in Frazer PA. In an industry where people have literally grown up working in and around pools, come learn the answer to this burning question as she discusses how she decided on this industry, what it has been like coming in from the outside and overcoming some of the challenges and obstacles faced as a minority female in a predominantly male industry. As a single mother, she will discuss how she juggled the responsibilities of being a mother, running a household, a commute of over 2 hours a day and running one of the largest and most successful award winning swimming pool companies in the area.
