It’s that time of year again. ILTACON is coming up fast. As everyone is planning their trip, here is advice from our group, from those that have been to Nashville recently. 🎵 If you plan to go downtown to Broadway, the Gaylord Opryland is about 25 minutes away. Plan your travel and transportation accordingly. 🎵 Consider going to Broadway during the daytime – the bars are more less crowded and there’s still lots of great music to listen to. 🍗 Do not eat hot chicken before going out or before going to bed. 🎵 There are so many unknown great singers at every bar and restaurant, don’t waste your time trying to go see someone famous. 🌄 👟 Nashville has hills! Make sure to bring comfortable shoes and bring band aids. 🍽 You won’t lack for dining options at the Gaylord Opryland – there’s more than a dozen to choose from! Steak, American, Mexican, Italian, coffee, bar food – all available onsite. 🎵 Don’t forget to catch a show at the Grand Old Opry! It's July and with half of 2024 on the books, let's take a look at some of the topics dominating the conversations. 1) GenAI is still dominating conversations. But who is using it? And for what? Do they like it? Does it really accomplish what it promises? How do we adapt? 2) Modern attachments or pointers or hyperlinked attachments? What do we call this data type? How do we think about it? How do we collect and process it? 3) Know your data. Information Governance is crucial. Don’t complicate preservation and collection unnecessarily for yourself or your team.
