We have an exciting RAPS Chicago Chapter summer networking event coming up on July 25th from 6:30pm to 8:00 pm at Cooper's Hawk in Wheeling. Huge thank you to CDRH's Jennifer Coble, MPM for speaking at our RAPS Chicago Chapter event this evening. Hearing about the use of standards in premarket submissions from the viewpoint of the FDA was very enlightening and encouraging. Creating standards is hard, yet rewarding work, and the FDA is also looking for volunteers from the industry to support. Overall, the use of standards in submissions is a win-win for both the regulators and manufacturers.
Great attendance and participation at our event this evening, this was a great opportunity to interact with CDRH on the topic of standards!

We are very happy to have Jennifer Coble, Regulatory Policy Analyst with the FDA joining us on Monday, June 10th at 5:30pm. This session will demonstrate the value of standards, explain how to cite them to maximize efficiencies, including in eSTAR, and introduce participants to the FDA’s latest program to enhance standards’ use in medical device reviews.
