Rural and Farm Finance Policy Analysis Center (RaFF) reposted this
Kansas crop producers could receive an average of $30-$39 per acre in economic assistance payments from USDA. Total payments for Kansas could be as high as $787 million. Logan Moss, Joe Parcell, Alejandro Plastina, Alice Roach, and I recently published an interactive map on AgManager.info that shows county-level eligible acreage and total payments for individual crops. A brief with a map of average payments per acre and a spreadsheet to estimate total payments at the farm level are also available. These estimates are based on information in the American Relief Act, 2025, which passed in late December. FSA will provide the final guidance on actual payment amounts and has 90 day to get them out. More resources at the national level and for other states are available from Rural and Farm Finance Policy Analysis Center (RaFF)! Over the next few months, on AgManager.info, will provide analysis, decision tools, and webinars on forthcoming ad hoc payments, ARC/PLC choices, and crop insurance. https://lnkd.in/ghtdCzU6

Tools help farmers estimate American Relief Plan assistance. Rural and Farm Finance Policy Analysis Center (RaFF) and FAPRI have produced two spreadsheet calculators that estimate per-acre payments to farmers as well as the total by crop and farm: (1) For single farms: https://lnkd.in/gw23XuFT. (2) For multiple farms: https://lnkd.in/gg7Xu_vu. Maps of economic assistance by county and crops for all states in the continental U.S. are at https://mizzou.us/RaFFpb3. Finally, the centers also have put together information on payments for Missouri crop producers by county and crop at https://mizzou.us/RaFFpb2. More details: https://lnkd.in/gKggzBqR.
