This summer marks over a year of successful collaboration on renewable fuelling methods between Shell and a global leading logistics service provider, Royal Den Hartogh Logistics. Together, we’ve looked at how integrating lower carbon solutions, such as renewable diesel - known as Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) – into their fleet operations has helped to reduce the emissions from their diesel-powered trucks. Derived from waste materials and vegetable oils, Shell Renewable Diesel can help reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional diesel.¹ This significant reduction aligns with Royal Den Hartogh's goal of decreasing their CO2 emission intensity by 25% by 2025, compared to 2019 levels.² And it doesn’t stop there. In June, Royal Den Hartogh joined us at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam to test our first 1MW MSC dual-purpose charger on one of their electric trucks, showcasing how innovative fast charging technologies are helping fleets to minimise downtime and reduce emissions. We are committed to transitioning towards a lower-carbon future with customers like Royal Den Hartogh. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to the Shell Chemicals Europe team, whose efforts have made this collaboration a success! #EnergyTransition #Fleets #biofuel #PoweringProgress #bettertogether #DenHartogh ¹ Between 80%-90% CO2e on a well-to-wheel basis as compared to B7 Diesel. • Do you have a blind spot when it comes to integrating #lubricants into your heavy-duty fleet operations? Read our new article featuring Shell Product Application Specialist Frank Machatschek, where he explores three ways lubricants can reduce costs for fleets by:    ⛽ Improving fuel economy: high-quality lubricants can increase fuel economy and load-pulling power, enhancing a vehicle’s overall productivity.    🔧 Lowering the risk of vehicle breakdowns: high-quality oils target acids and deposits preventing corrosion, reducing the likelihood of breakdowns, unplanned maintenance, and associated costs.    🚚 Extends engine oil: The right lubricant provides protection and enables longer oil-drain intervals, reducing the need for frequent component replacements and lowering maintenance costs.    Learn more about how high-quality lubricants and oils can reduce the cost per kilometre for your heavy-duty fleet. https://lnkd.in/e3NUwfTv   #FleetManagement #lubricants
